HIMALAYAN SALT SOAP BARS Olive Oil Farmhouse Soap (The Soap Barn) Coarse Himalayan Salt (The Soap Barn) Loaf Tin Method: Gently melt your Farmhouse soap in a pot on the stove or in the microwave. Once melted leave to cool substantially. Stir it every now and then to test how quickly it is thickening. When the soap is thick quicky pour in your salts and stir through well. Pour the mixture into a loaf tin and leave to set. When the soap has set you can knock it out of the loaf tin and slice it up. P. S you need to work really quickly once the soap has thickened. You don’t want to add the salt when the soap is still runny because it will dissolve and will also sink to the bottom. So you can only add it once the soap is cool and thick. You have about 1 minute to stir it in and pour it at the correct temperature
