Hello dear friend!


Can you see how fast this year is flying by?! It is already February, Valentines’s Day around the corner, Hobby-X around the next corner, Easter around the following corner, just stop for a breath and then Mothers’ Day and Fathers’ Day and time to get ready for Christmas again. I kind of feel like a pet hamster on an exercise wheel going faster and faster round and round!


This is a really mad month with Valentines’ Day in the middle and Hobby-X just after. As you may well know I always take just one project to Hobby-X (no point taking my whole shop!) so I can introduce one special craft to the public. This year I will be taking everything you need to make body butter candles. So I will be there with my soy wax, wicks, colours, fragrances and containers. If you would like to learn how to make body butter candles just come along and visit us at the Sun Dome from 1st March to 4th March. I will also be teaching a two hour class at Hobby-X on the Sunday afternoon – R320.00 all inclusive, and attendees will make up their own bath and body product hampers. If you have been wanting to attend one of my classes and find you just never make it please book for this class on Sunday 4th March at the Dome. I promise you will learn lots and have loads of fun as well.


This is a mixed E-Mag this month with a little bit of Valentines’ from me, a little bit of Easter from Toni and some citronella recipes also thrown in for good measure. I just couldn’t make up my mind – should I do some more Valentines ideas or should I help you get rid of the flies and mosquitoes that are so irritating this time of the year. So I decided to do both.


Chomsky is staring at me with sad eyes waiting to go for a walk (and it is so horribly hot!) but I told him he would have to wait till I finish telling you all my news. So, I guess I have done that and now it is time for me and Chomsky to go out, face the midday heat and try to get home without melting.
