Method

Cut the red glycerine soap into 1cm slices and cut a heart out of each slice with the cookie cutter.
Press the hearts firmly onto the bottom of the roasting pan (turn the pan upside down to check they hold, any that fall out need pressing down again).
Melt the white farmhouse soap in the microwave or a pot on the stove.
Stir the cherry fragrance into the melted white soap.
Gently pour the white soap over the hearts and leave to set.
Once set, turn out and slice into bars, each with a red heart inside.

Once you have made your chunky heart soaps, here are a few ways to get a great result and make it your own.

Use a soap-safe fragrance within the recommended rate so it pours and sets well.
Pick a flexible silicone mould, it makes unmoulding much easier.
Add colour and fragrance once the soap has cooled slightly, then pour before it starts to set.

Make it your own: swap the colour, fragrance or botanicals, or try a different mould for a whole new look.
