Borax Powder

Borax powder, a multipurpose ingredient for cleaning, laundry and craft. Best known now as the activator in classic slime making.

In slime. Borax is what turns glue into stretchy slime. It is used dissolved in water and added a little at a time, since too much makes the slime stiff and rubbery.

Around the home. Laundry boosting, general cleaning mixes and craft projects.

Safety. Keep it out of reach of children, have an adult handle the powder and the mixing, and wash hands after use. It is a household and craft ingredient, not a cosmetic one, so do not use it in leave-on skin products.
