Bubblegum Fragrance

A sweet, sugary bubblegum scent, playful and instantly recognisable. One of those fragrances that sells itself at a market stall, especially to children and for party favours.

Usage rates. About 5 to 8% in candles and 2 to 5% in soap and bath products. Start at the lower end and adjust, since a strong sweet scent can tip from fun to cloying.

What to make. Candles, melt and pour soap, bath bombs and salts, body scrubs, lip balm and slime.

Working with it. Add fragrance once your base has cooled slightly off the melt, then stir it in properly so it binds rather than pooling. In candles, give it a good two minutes of stirring before you pour.

Available in 10ml, 100ml and 500ml.
