Farmhouse Soap – Goats Milk Fragranced

A natural farmhouse soap base in caramel, made with organic goats milk and lightly fragranced so the milk does the talking. This is a raw base for soap making, supplied in slabs, not a finished bar.

Working with it. Cut the slab into whatever size bar you like and let the cut faces dry for a day before wrapping. If you would rather remould it, melt gently and keep the heat low, since milk bases scorch more easily than clear ones.

What to make. Creamy everyday bars, layered bars against a white or clear base, and gift sets.

Good to know. Goats milk gives a soft, creamy lather that rinses clean, which is why it is such a steady seller. The caramel colour is natural to the milk and varies a little between batches.
