Wick 3mm (5m)

Medium 3mm cotton wick on a 5m roll, the reliable all-rounder for standard container candles roughly 60mm to 80mm across.

Cut a length a little longer than your container is deep, fix it into a sustainer, hold it centred with a wick holder or a peg across the top, then pour. Trim to about 5mm before every burn for a clean, even flame with very little smoke.

Always test burn one candle before you make a batch, as wax type, fragrance load and container width all change how a wick behaves.
