Farmhouse Soap – African Black & Rooibos

A natural farmhouse soap base in tan, blending traditional African black soap with rooibos. Earthy and characterful, and already coloured and scented, so you can simply melt, pour and set. This is a raw base for soap making, not a finished bar.

Working with it. Cut into even cubes and melt gently in a double boiler or short microwave bursts, stirring between each. Do not boil. Pour into your moulds and leave to set fully before unmoulding.

What to make. Rustic everyday bars, guest soaps, gift sets, and layered bars against a plain white or clear base for contrast.

Good to know. Because the colour and scent are already in the base, you can add your own on top or leave it exactly as it is. Wrap finished bars once set and keep them dry.
