Farmhouse Soap – Unfragranced

A natural farmhouse soap base in plain white, unfragranced and uncoloured, ready for you to melt, scent and pour into your own bars. This is a raw base for soap making, not a finished bar.

Working with it. Cut the block into even cubes and melt gently in a double boiler or in short microwave bursts, stirring between each. Do not let it boil. Add your fragrance or essential oil and colour once it has cooled a little, stir slowly, then pour into your mould.

What to make. Plain everyday bars, botanical and herb soaps, layered and embedded designs, guest bars and gift sets.

Good to know. Unfragranced means you set the scent, so one block can make a whole range. Wrap finished bars once set and store them somewhere dry.
