How to Make Strawberry and Lime Farmhouse Soap

A fruity farmhouse soap scented with strawberry and lime, simple melt-and-pour and gorgeous as a gift.

Method

1. Gently melt the farmhouse soap (low heat on the stove or microwave on defrost).
2. Stir in the strawberry and lime fragrances and a little colouring.
3. Pour into your mould and leave to set.
4. Turn out and slice into bars.

Tips & variations

Once you have made your strawberry and lime farmhouse soap, here are a few ways to get a great result and make it your own.

• Use a soap-safe fragrance within the recommended rate so it pours and sets well.
• Pick a flexible silicone mould, it makes unmoulding much easier.
• Add colour and fragrance once the soap has cooled slightly, then pour before it starts to set.
