Lip Balm Base – Plain

An unscented, uncoloured lip balm base, completely plain and ready to melt and pour.

This is the one to reach for when you want to build your own balm from scratch. Add your own flavour oil, a little mica for shimmer or colour, and a touch of vitamin E, all measured to your own recipe.

Cut off what you need, melt gently in short bursts in the microwave or over a double boiler, then pour into tubes, pots or tins. Leave to set completely before capping. The 500ml tub makes roughly one hundred 5ml balms.
