Orange Glycerine Base – Orange

A natural farmhouse soap base in a warm orange, scented with juicy orange. Already coloured and fragranced, so you melt, pour and set. This is a raw base for soap making, not a finished bar.

Working with it. Cut into even cubes and melt gently in a double boiler or short microwave bursts, stirring between each. Do not boil. Pour into your moulds and leave to set fully before unmoulding.

What to make. Bright cheerful bars, citrus gift sets, layered bars against a white base, and children’s soaps where the colour does the work.

Good to know. Citrus scents are lively but lighter than most, so keep bars wrapped once set to hold the fragrance. Store somewhere dry.
