In soap making. Spritz a fine mist over freshly poured melt and pour soap to pop surface bubbles for a smooth, clear finish. It is also used between layers so one layer bonds to the next.

In bath bombs and crafts. A light spritz helps bath bomb mixture bind without setting it off early. It is also handy for cleaning moulds, tools, glass and other surfaces, because it evaporates quickly and leaves little residue.

Common questions.
Is this the same as rubbing alcohol? Yes, but at 99% it is much stronger than the weaker mixtures sold as rubbing alcohol, so it is not interchangeable in recipes written for those.
Why a spray bottle? A fine mist gives an even coverage with very little alcohol. Pour into a clean spray bottle that is suitable for alcohol.
