Tips & variations
Once you have made your citronella gel travel candle, here are a few ways to get a great result and put your own spin on it.
- Heat gel wax slowly and pour into a warmed container if you want a crystal-clear, bubble-free finish.
- Use only gel-approved fragrance and dye so the wax stays clear and burns safely.
- Trim the wick to about 5mm before every burn to keep the flame steady and cut down on soot.
Make it your own: swap the fragrance for any scent in our range, or add a touch of candle dye for a different look.
