How to Make a Coffee Face Mask

A solid massage bar that melts on contact with warm skin, a wonderful pamper gift. This easy recipe from The Soap Barn uses simple ingredients from our body and bath range.
What you will need
- 4 tablespoons cocoa butter
- 6 tablespoons shea butter
- 2 tablespoons sweet almond oil
- 2 tablespoons beeswax
- A bar mould
- Fragrance

Method
- Melt the cocoa butter, shea butter, sweet almond oil and beeswax in a pan over low heat.
- When melted, add about 20ml of fragrance and stir.
- Let the mixture cool a little, then pour into your mould.
- Leave to stand for
minutes, then pop in the freezer forShop bath and body making supplies →to
minutes to set hard before un-moulding.

Tips & variations
Once you have made your massage bar, here are a few ways to get a great result and make it your own.
- Melt butters and waxes gently over low heat so they keep their goodness.
- Label every batch with the date so you know how fresh it is.
- Measure by weight for results you can repeat batch after batch.
