How to Make Cup Cake Candles

Cup cake candles are fun, pretty party candles made in a cup cake mould. This easy recipe from The Soap Barn uses simple candle making supplies.

What you will need

• Candle wax
• Pre-waxed wick with sustainer
• Cup cake mould
• Oil colours
• Empty tin

Method

1. Melt the wax and let it cool until it looks milky rather than watery.
2. Pour into the top and bottom cavities of the mould and leave to set.
3. Unmould, make a hole through the middle of the top and bottom and thread the wick so they join as one cup cake.
4. Dip in coloured wax and decorate with different colours.
