Method

Melt the gel wax over very low heat until it runs like water. Fragrance with coffee and chocolate and colour with the brown mica and lustre.
Dip the wick, fasten the sustainer and position it in the middle of the mug. Pour the gel three quarters of the way up and leave to set.
Melt the powder wax, add fragrance and pour over the gel to the top.
Leave to set, top up the shrink hole with leftover melted wax and cool completely.

Heat gel wax slowly and pour into a warmed container if you want a crystal-clear, bubble-free finish.
Use only gel-approved fragrance and dye so the wax stays clear and burns safely.
On the first light, let the melt pool reach the edges before blowing it out, it prevents tunnelling later.
