Potpourri is the easiest way into working with dried botanicals. There is no heat, no measuring and very little that can go wrong. It is mostly an exercise in choosing shapes and colours you like and letting them scent a room slowly. An easy recipe from The Soap Barn using our dried botanicals. How to Make Slime

Stretchy, squishy slime is the classic rainy-day craft, and it takes about five minutes with two ingredients plus water. This is the original borax method, which gives a firmer, less sticky slime than most shortcuts. A quick recipe from The Soap Barn. What you will need 1 teaspoon borax powder 250ml white PVA craft glue Warm water A few drops liquid colour or a pinch of mica powder for shimmer Two bowls and a spoon Method In the first bowl, dissolve 1 teaspoon of borax powder in 250ml of warm water. How to Make Botanical Bath Tea Bags

A bath tea bag is the tidiest way to enjoy dried botanicals in the bath. Everything stays inside the bag, so you get the colour and the scent without fishing petals out of the drain afterwards. How to Make Laundry Powder

A simple laundry powder you can mix at home in about ten minutes, using three basic ingredients. It is cheaper by the wash than anything off the shelf and you control exactly what goes in it. How to Make a Lemon Grass Foot Spray

A cooling lemon grass spray to refresh hot, tired feet in seconds. What you will need 10ml lemon grass fragrance 100ml spraying alcohol Green liquid colouring 100ml spray bottle Method Add the lemon grass fragrance to the spraying alcohol.
